Palliative Care Physician - Victoria in Medical & Healthcare Jobs

Our client is seeking a full time palliative care physician to join their expanding team
 
The clinical responsibilities for this position will include providing specialist palliative medical support and clinical leadership to the Multidisciplinary Palliative Care Consultancy Team, hospital consultancy, community based palliative care assessments and advice to GPs.
 
This is a great opportunity to join an exciting multi-disciplinary program that aims to provide consistent access to specialist palliative care services and facilitate continuity of care for patients, carers and families across the region.
 
Some of Victoria's most beautiful beaches, lakes, rivers and seaside villages are less than 30 minutes drive, the Alpine ski fields are within 1½ hrs and Melbourne is an easy 90 minute drive, just jump on the freeway!!

Selection Criteria:
  
1.Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in Palliative Care,
Fellowship of the Australasian Chapter of Palliative Medicine or equivalent 
  
  
2. Current AHPRA registration as a medical practitioner, or demonstrated eligibility.
 
3. Excellent consultation and communication skills  
      
4. Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team, as well as to work independently .
